Hi I'm Tasha Suzanne

I grew up in Colorado, in the United States. I speak Spanish and English. I want to teach Spanish someday. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am currently working and going to school as I prepare to serve a mission in the Philippines. I graduated in high school in 2011, with honors. In high school, I ran cross country, competed in Track and Field, throwing shot put and discus, and was part of the theater group there. I love to sing and play the violin, and even though I am not great at it, I also LOVE to dance! I speak Spanish, and I am studying French and Tagalog currently.

Why I am a Mormon

Why am I a Mormon? Well, I was born into the church, and so I never really though about it until I got into high school. I had some really hard things to deal with in high school, and some past demons to face. At that point, I learned a lot about the Savior, and His Atonement. I finally realized that the Atonement was not just for repentance, but also so that I wouldn't be alone in facing my trials and that I could be comforted when feeling sad or angry or alone. I wouldn't have learned that anywhere else except in the Mormon Church, where we focus on the redemption Christ made possible for us. There is a joy that comes with knowing the truth, and I can't wait to share that joy.

How I live my faith

In church, I play the piano in Sunday school and I am the secretary for the women's organization. I help keep track of all of our sisters, and I make sure they know what activities we have each work. I also visit teach two wonderful women, which allows me to get to know them and to serve them. I also participate in service projects when I can. For example, there was a 5k that I ran to help support tutoring children.
