Hi I'm Jake

I grew up in Meridian, Idaho. I am involved in ultimate frisbee, swimming, and mountain biking. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am a soon to be graduated high school student. I love to have fun with my friends, and always try to be the happiest person I can be. I love to mountain bike in the near by foot hills with my dad or friends. Swimming is my passion, I swam for eight years and I now coach swim team for the Streamliner Aquatics. Ultimate frisbee is a fun sport that I have taken up the last year or two, it is such a relaxed sport and most everyone shows qualities of good sportsmanship. I love life!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon, and am very grateful for the opportunity to be one. This gospel is the gospel of happiness. Everyday I wake up, and decide to be happy. I am able to do this because every time I pray I feel the presence of my father, and this bring peace and happiness to my soul. Although I am imperfect, through the atonement of Jesus Christ I can live with my father in heaven again. I know that Jesus suffered for my sins, and that he lives, and his father also. I know that the book of Mormon, and the Bible are the word of god on the earth today. I know that Thomas S. Monson is a true prophet of god. I know that this is the gospel of Jesus Christ On the earth today, and I invite all to come and learn of this wondrous gospel that has benefitted my life so very much.

How I live my faith

I love the gospel of Jesus Christ. I believe that no matter where a person stands he or she can stand for his or her beliefs. I am preparing to serve a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in the West Indies Mission. I am so Excited to become an emissary for my savior Jesus Christ for the next two years. I will be able to stand as a witness of Christ in all times and in all things and in all places. What a neat opportunity.
