Hi I'm Brennon

I grew up in Utah and Colorado. I played french horn in high school. I resurface driveways. I'm a Mormon

About Me

I am a recent high school graduate. I do epoxy coating for a job. Originally it was tennis court repair but now we've moved to doing residential floors, countertops, and driveways. I grew up learning to play sports. My favorite was baseball. In high school I played Football and also did marching band. I am a well rounded person so I decided to do other extra curricular activities besides those: Student Government, Quiz Bowl, Science Fair, German Club, and a class called Energy Science and Policy. I like to sing. I sing in the church choir. I played the french horn in High school, the beastliest instrument ever! One hobby that I love to do on occasion is geocaching. I also love to swing dance. Dancing is a wonderful skill to have. I am also proud to be an Eagle Scout.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born a spiritual child. My father talks about me when I was just starting to speak, that I would try to speak to people in not just short expressions but in paragraphs. However I could not be understood. My father and I believe that I was trying to say something about the spiritual world but I simply was not allowed to do so and therefore I could not be understood. I decided to be baptized into the church when I was 8. Since then I have developed a personal relationship with God and Jesus Christ. I have been helped by them in all my trials. It is because of them that I am able to live and breath and do many great works. I continue to actively participate in the church because there are so many ways that we can serve each other. When I work to serve others I find indescribable joy that comes from God. It is by such experiences that I know he lives. My happiness continues to grow as long as I am willing to do those things that God has asked.

How I live my faith

I study my scriptures and pray to God as often as I can. I go to church every Sunday. I live the standards of the church such as keeping away from drugs and alcohol or even no sex before marriage. I've been a home teacher which means I go visit a family in my congregation every month and share a short uplifting message with them that connects with the gospel. I have also had several positions in the church to be a leader among the young men. I would find opportunities to serve them and help them serve others. I was also the president of a class for teenagers in the church called Seminary. That is where I was able to express by best attributes of forgiveness and being friendly to everybody.
