Hi I'm Gage

Nama berita! ("How are you" in Iban) I was born and raised in Utah. I am currently serving in the Singapore/Malaysia Mission.

About Me

I am nineteen years old and I'm currently serving in the Singapore/Malaysia Mission. I am apart of a family of eight. I have five siblings; two are biological and three are adopted. My brother is from Haiti, I have a sister from Haiti, and another sister from China. I love to play sports. My favorite is football. I'm hoping that when I get back from my mission that I will have the opportunity to continue to play football in college. I like to listen to music, hangout with my friends and family, watch movies, and be outdoors. I'm a really kind and caring person which makes me easy to talk to and get along with. I'm also a really hard worker and give 100% at anything and everything I set my mind to.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I KNOW, without a doubt in my mind, that this is the true church. We are Heavenly Father's children and he sent his son; Jesus Christ, to die for us and to atone for the sins of the world so that we may return to live with him again. Of all the blessings promised to us, this is the greatest one of all. I know that Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ appeared to Joseph Smith and told him to restore the true church. I know that Joseph Smith translated the Book of Mormon so that we may learn of the gospel of Jesus Christ and many other teachings. I know Joseph Smith was a true prophet! I know that Heavenly Father loves each and every one of us and that his love for us in infinite. I also know that the Atonement of Jesus Christ is infinite and can help and change anybody no matter what their circumstances may be. The Atonement has blessed my life and I've seen it change other peoples' lives since I've been on my mission. It's been an amazing experience! I came on a mission to change my own life and also to change other peoples' lives...I have been able to do both in so many ways, so you could say that I'm getting more than I bargained for and it's awesome! I know this church and this gospel is true and I love it so much!

How I live my faith

Well, right now I'm living my faith by serving a full-time mission in Malaysia! I love it! When I'm home though I love to always study the gospel, learning, making necessary changes in my life, and trying to be the best example I can be to everyone around me. CPR: Church attendance, Prayers, and Reading scriptures. Those are the big three for me and we use that a lot to help people in Malaysia. I'll also be applying this to my life back at home in 15 months.
