Hi I'm Braden Burns

I grew up in St. George, UT. Im a music producer, I sing, and share the Gospel. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I produce music of all kinds, and record others. I am currently 20 years old, serving a Full-Time Mission in the Louisville Kentucky Mission. GKLM!

Why I am a Mormon

I know that Jesus Christ lives, and I know that I have been blessed by following commandments of the lord, following the word of wisdom, and the law of chastity. I know that in this Latter-Day, Thomas S. Monson, is our true prophet, and receives revelation, to then share to us, what is right and wrong, along with stories, and his own testimony. I know that Joseph Smith was a true prophet, and translated the scriptures, for us, so we can understand, and live worthy. I'm a Mormon because I opened my heart, and turned "religion" into a life style. Many people think Mormons aren't Christians, or that we believe in a different Christ. Being one that has put it to the test, I have found that everything I have learned in this church is in the King James Version bible. Not only that, but is supported by people in the Ancient Americas, in the Book of Mormon. I know the Creator of the Earth, is the Creator of me, the Creator of my parents, and the whole nation. And I know he would only have 1 gospel, one teaching, and one foundation, which he did through his son Jesus Christ, as Christ came to the earth to establish his gospel, and foundation, as explained in the 4 gospels, and prophesied through the Old Testament. I'm a Mormon, because I believe in Christ, and I love that the way the church is set up, and organized; With " apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ" -Ephesians 4:11-12. And as we all know, the only way to find out is to ask the one who created us. "If any of you lack wisdom , let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him." -James 1:5. Take the challenge, "and by the power of the Holy Ghost ye may know the truth of all things." -Moroni 10:5

How I live my faith

James 1:22-23, "But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves. For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer, he is like unto a man beholding his natural face in a glass." I have a very strong testimony of this principle that is taught in James. Be ye doers of the word. Thats exactly how I live my faith. If you have faith, it will lead you to action, which is to share the gospel. "Preach the gospel to every creature". -Mark 16:15. As I am a full time missionary, I have the opportunity, to share my testimony, that Jesus Died for me, that the gospel he taught is on the earth again, and that we can have the opportunity to live it, and reap the blessings. Long story short, and to answer the question "How I live my faith".. Is I live it.. Its a lifestyle. To exercise your faith in Jesus Christ, you act on the words, and example that he put forth to us in the New Testament. I know it blesses my life, and Promise it can bless yours.

What is being a Mormon like?

Braden Burns
I love being a mormon, because of the blessings. Not only are there blessings in line, but there is happiness. Heavenly Father created a "Plan of Happiness", and it allows families to be closer, happier, and along with Jesus Christ' Atonement, and Plan of Salvation, families are able to live for eternity.
