Hi I'm Berd

I was born and raised in Las Vegas, Nevada. I am a University Student. I love studying languages and school. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am from Las Vegas and now currently a university student. I am a Business major and I am also minoring in Japanese and Chinese. I love meeting new people and especially people of different countries. One of my goals in life is to be able to speak 10 languages. I have 1 brother and 2 sisters. My brother is married. I am the second youngest. My parents both live in Las Vegas while we kids live elsewhere to go to school . I love playing volleyball. I have been playing volleyball since I was in high school on my high school team.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because of the principles that the church teaches. We believe in being honest, loving, obedient, respecting, charitable people. We believe that God is our heavenly father and that through his son, our brother Jesus Christ, we can live again. And its through Jesus Christ, that we as a family can live together forever with God and Jesus Christ. The gospel doesn't give you what the world offers, temporary fun or happiness, but offers you true happiness that will always be with you. I know this all to be true and I know that for our growth and help, God has called a living prophet to guide us today to help us to become an eternal family.

How I live my faith

I am currently going to a singles ward where I am the sacrament preparer. I make sure that I have the bread and water prepared on sunday for people to partake of. The sacrament is special because when we partake of the bread and water, we are renewing our baptismal covenants with our heavenly father. We also promise to remember our savior Jesus Christ when we partake of it. I am also a home teacher where me and my roommate visit certain people in our ward and teach them the first presidency message (the prophet or apostles write this) that comes from the magazine, Liahona. We also make sure that they are doing ok and see if there is any thing that we can help them with. We try to be better friends with them
