Hi I'm Cayden Womack

I grew up in Kaysville, Utah. I love discovering the gospel and learning about people. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am one of many people who has answered the call to serve an LDS mission. Currently I am a senior in high school and am a Student Body Officer. I love to act and sing as well as get to know people. I also love to be outdoors. More specifically I love to whitewater Kayak, rappel, hike, and just spend time outside. I have always been LDS but have still had to search for a personal testimony on my own. Ever since I turned eight years old I have been an avid scout and love to learn the skills made accessible by the organization. I love to teach about the gospel and am readily awaiting my departure date for my mission.

Why I am a Mormon

I have always been a Mormon. However, often times people just go with the flow and say they have a testimony because their parents do. I learned that I needed to gain my own testimony and to pray to know if I really did need to go on a mission. Several years ago I was at an EFY when my counselor told us to pray to know if we personally should be missionaries. I decided to take up the challenge and pray for myself. When we were sitting in a morningside that Thursday morning, I felt as if time stood still and my answer came to me as clear as day. I knew that I was supposed to serve a mission and have acted on that feeling. There is no way I could say that this gospel is not true after having a feeling such as that.

How I live my faith

I am very active in my ward. Callings I have been in are Deacons Quorum and Teachers Quorum President as well as counselors in Deacons, Teachers, and Priests Quorums. I also have done my best to be an avid home teacher. I have home-taught several families since I turned fourteen years old and have done my best to teach them each and every month. I also strive to attend all ward sponspored events and mutual activities. Mutual is important for me so that I can stay in contact with those that I don't see as often.
