Hi I'm Moses Fakatou

I'm 14 yrs old and live in Solihull, England. However, I am originally from Tonga but was born in Australia.

About Me

I'm currently still at Secondary School and I enjoy going to school and meeting my friends. I love playing rugby, which is kind of typical as a Polynesian, and hope to follow the footsteps of my dad who also plays rugby. I'm the oldest in my family with 2 sisters and 1 brother, so there's six of us all together in the home.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the church, which means I have been a Mormon all my life. I love being a Mormon because of the joy and feeling I get from it. The great feeling of say, doing service to a family or saying a kind word to my friends just makes me grateful that I'm a Mormon. Last year, I had the wonderful chance of attending a Youth Convention known as EFY, Especially For Youth. The whole convention lasts for a week during the summer and it was at EFY that I really gained a testimony for many things, but what stood out was the Atonement of my Savior, Jesus Christ. The great knowledge of knowing that you can repent and be forgiven of what you've done wrong makes me so happy and grateful for the Atonement, and strives me to live a good life.

How I live my faith

For me, I attend the Solihull Ward which is about 5 mins from my house which is really convenient! In my church, Young Men aged 12-18 are trusted with responsibilities in the ward. Part of my Church allows boys aged 18 to serve as a Missionary for my Church and I have chosen to do so. I've been assigned to the China Hong Kong Mission which I cannot wait to do, and I love this Gospel so much, other people deserve to feel of the love as well. God is Love and God is Good; I hope to teach other people in Hong Kong of that same message.
