Hi I'm Lizzy

I grew up in rural Wyoming and I'm currently earning a degree in Secondary Math Education. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have grown up in rural Wyoming. I have completed two years of college at a university in Secondary Math Education. I love to swim and read books, but not at the same time.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in a Mormon home. My parents are Mormons and the majority of their family is Mormon too. While I was growing up I learned the Gospel of Jesus Christ through my parents. For a while I just beleived what they were teaching was true because they were my parents. Then, when I left home and went to school, I wanting to know for my self if the Church was true. So I payed more attention in church and I started to study it out for myself. I read the Book of Mormon and I prayed to God. I asked Him if what I was learning was true. I poured out my heart to my Heavenly Father and He answered my prayer and calmed my heart and soul. I know for my self that this church is true. Jesus Christ died for my sins and afflictions. My Heavenly Father loves and cares for me. He wants me to return and live with him someday and he provided a plan for me to do just that. Through faith, repentence, baptism, and the gift of the Holy Ghost I will return to my loving Father in heaven. I know if you ask in sincere prayer God will answer you. He loves you just as much as he loves me. You are special to him. He wants you to return to Him someday.

How I live my faith

I participate in my community by helping out the university bands through an organization call Kappa Kappa Psi. It is a national honarary band fraternity that gives service to the school as well as the bands. In my church ward I participate by helping plan social events like potlucks. Mainly if it involves food I am incharge of it! I love seeing people happy and their stomachs full!
