Hi I'm McKay Lago

I was born in Salt Lake City Utah and am a citizen of Spain. I use music to express my emotions. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a 18 year old brand new Elder that is so enthusiastic and excited to serve the Lord for 2 years in France. I love music, and everything about it! (Composing, performing, arranging, mixing, etc.) I have a true passion for serving others. I can not wait to be a husband and a father one day in my own little eternity. I hope to learn of the love that Jesus Christ--my Savior--has for me even more so that I can utilize that love in how I treat those I teach, and how I love my future family. I have been raised by great parents that have taught me the importance of the Gospel, and the simple joy that being a true deciple of Christ brings. I hope to be able to share that message with the world in all that I do.

Why I am a Mormon

I have truly learned the power that comes from obedience to God's simple commandments. Not only have I have a greater sense of peace in my life by living the principles taught by Christ, but also a greater assurance of a happy future. I know that I am not only my best self when I'm obedient, but the influence I am on others is just what I want to be. I have truly seen miracles in my life because of obedience. God grants us the righteous desires of our hearts as long as we do the simple things He asks of us. Sacrifice leaves room in our life for God to fill our life with miracles. "Obedience brings blessings. Perfect Obedience brings miracles."

How I live my faith

I have participated in a few callings such as being part of the presidency in all the youth and young men's groups. I have had the privilege of getting to lead the music each Suday at our meetings, and have truly loved using my musical talents to bring the spirit. I play the violin, the cello, the piano, and I sing. So I have jumped on any oportunity I could get to share a musical selection with my ward family.
