Hi I'm Janine

I was born and raised in beautiful Scotland. I love musical theatre and I'm a dreamer! I am a Mormon

About Me

I currently work in a bank but studied musical theatre at college. It's always been a big part of my life and I hope it always will be. I also love reading. There is nothing better than getting lost in a new world and believing that its real, even just for a moment. I am a only child but have a MASSIVE family whom I love very much, I am the eldest Grandchild on both sides of my family and I have 15 little cousins. . . So far. All my friends make make a fool of me when we're listening to music because I say " I love this song, it's my favourite!" About every song.

Why I am a Mormon

The reason I have Chosen to join this church is simple. I was taught the gospel when I was young and as I grew older I learned very quickly that when I didn't live the teachings, I felt unhappy. And when I did live the teachings I felt great happiness and peace, even when times were hard. This Church just makes sense to me, why would a loving God stop talking to His children? And stop giving them direction? I know that we have a living Prophet on the Earth today. I know that my Heavenly Father has a plan for me, He knows who I am and He loves me. I know that my saviour lives and He made it possible for me to be forgiven when I make mistakes. I love Him and I Love this Gospel. I am a Mormon because it makes me happy. It's that simple.

How I live my faith

I have always participated in "church life". I grew up going to primary and youth classes and attending seminary. I teach the youth in my ward young women's class. I LOVE our youth. They teach me more than I teach them I think. They inspire me. I really enjoy learning by reading the Book of Mormon and other scriptures. I try to be my best self every day, it's not always easy, but I just keep trying. And trying. That's how I live my faith.
