Hi I'm Jake

I grew up in Utah, teach math at a high school, am married with three children; I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born in 1985 in the state of Utah. I graduated from my local university in 2011, receiving a Bachelors degree of Science in Mathematics Education. I teach math at a local high school. I am married and have 3 children. I love spending time with my wife and children. I enjoy learning and studying mathematics. On my free time I enjoy lifting weights, doing yard work, and watching a good show/movie.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into a great family that was and is very active in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I am grateful for great parents that taught me correct principles and a love for Jesus Christ. Their examples helped me gain an understanding of the Gospel that I now know of myself to be true. We believe that families can be together forever, which gives me great comfort. I would not give up what I know for anything in this world.

How I live my faith

I attend church meetings weekly with my family. We try to make the church and Our Savior the center of our lives. Living the Gospel of Jesus Christ brings us great happiness and purpose. My wife and I try to teach our children to be kind, responsible citizens that are honest in what they do and say. We try to teach them the importance of prayer and scripture study. This is no easy task, but we know that in having children we have a great responsibility. A big part of how I live my faith is by giving service. We will all need help at some point in our lives and service uplifts all parties.
