Hi I'm Taylor Bluto

I am a strong believer in the Gospel, it has brought so much happiness to my life. I can proudly say, "I'm a Mormon."

About Me

I am a slightly random, fun loving and very outgoing person. I'm told I have a bubbly personality. I don't know what I would do without Music. I love music so much. You will rarely find me without headphones on. Music is a great escape for me, I sing a lot too. I was in a school choir for 3 years and am currently in our ward choir. I also like to write and read. I love swimming and hiking. I enjoy being outside a lot. I love attending church and related activities. The Gospel makes me very happy. I love the idea of traveling and seeing new places. I am excited at the thought of going on a mission. I love meeting new people and making new friends. I like kids, so I babysit a lot. I love animals. I have two dogs. I doodle a lot, i used to be good at painting Scooby Doo. I have a wide variety of interests, too many to name them all.

Why I am a Mormon

That is a great question. I was born into an LDS family, however they were inactive at the time. When I was 9 years old I remember attending church with a great family, with whom I still see at church events. I can't remember why I ever stopped going. Looking back on it, I wish i hadn't. A couple years ago my family started to struggle and our lives were turned upside down, I started to feel unhappy and desiring an escape from this life. I was prompted by the Holy Spirit to talk to my family about me going back to church. I went back to church when i was 15 and i felt lighter. Happier. I was then baptized two months later. The Gospel has brought me the escape I needed. It has made me feel happier, and I have a constant companion with me. The Holy Spirit. I have a testimony of the Holy Spirit after a bad car accident, that would have put me in the hospital if He had not prompted and guided me not to sit in the front seat. I testify to you that if you seek our Heavenly Father, you will never be alone. You will never have an unending darkness. For he is the light in the darkness, and the darkness comprehendith it not. I testify to you, that with God, anything is possible. As it states in John 3:16; "For God so loved the World, that he gave his only begotten son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." To me, the knowledge of his unconditional love for me and everyone I know, no matter what we do, that's all I need.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by Standing in Holy Places and standing firm in my beliefs and values. I attend Sacrament meetings Every Sunday possible. I make sure to watch all General conferences and broadcasts. I pray every night and day, and sometimes more if I am struggling with something. I try to follow a righteous and clean path and when I see myself stray, I make sure to repent and ask God to redirect me. I am a full tithe payer, actually I am an over tithe payer, but I would rather pay more than enough than not enough. I try my best to follow the promptings of the Holy Spirit and live a righteous and Christ Like life.
