Hi I'm Nigel

Happily married with two wonderful boys, enjoying countryside life, a businessman. I'm a mormon.

About Me

I grew up in south London, moved to Epsom, then at 15 my family moved to Lichfield in Staffordshire, where I met my wife to be (who had her own scalextric set!). I took Mechanical Engineering in central London, started my career in defense missile systems before moving to a safer job when we got engaged, to a car manufacturer for many years. I have a passion for classic cars, had fun times racing in saloon series, when our first son was born. We moved to Devon and have continued our property renovations and developed our own businesses. Our second son was born. Both following the interests in cars and Land Rovers we have plenty of family fun surrounding our interests and enjoying the rural countryside around us together with friends and neighbours.

Why I am a Mormon

I thoroughly enjoy being a mormon, its such a strength to know true teachings of why we are here on earth, to know the truth, to learn to know my Saviour Jesus Christ. I have a family, I need them with me forever.

How I live my faith

I grew up in an LDS family from the age of 5. My parents have taught and continue to teach by example. I had to find my own way but have learnt that for a happy family life and peaceful heart in knowing the way to go through life with a focus on the eternities, I read the scriptures daily, attend church every Sunday and continue to learn more about the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I serve currently as a Councillor in the Branch Presidency. I also assist in helping other Latter Day Saints with service at their homes, in meeting them to uplift them, counsel, listen to them when in need, which helps them in their daily lives and in making correct decisions. I have been in a position of Youth Leadership in our Branch for some years, its rewarding to teach self worth, good standards and values to follow, to have weekly sports and fun activities and discussions to protect them in today's world.
