Hi I'm Cole

I was born in Utah. I have Arabic ancestry. I'm an avid outdoorsman, climber, and musician. I go to Utah State. I'm a Mormon

About Me

I've graduated from high school and moved onto to Utah State for college. I'm going into Biological Engineering. I enjoy being with my friends and being in the outdoors. I've been climbing, biking, hiking, backpacking, rafting, canyoneering, and just about everything else along those lines. I've played lacrosse through my high school years playing defense. I've continued playing my trumpet, ukulele and percussion instruments in college. I've graduated from seminary and am currently attending institute.

Why I am a Mormon

I've been a member all my life. I have been brought up in the gospel by my loving parents. I know that my Heavenly Father loves me and knows me personally. I know that my Savior, Jesus Christ, died for me that I might be able to return and become like my Heavenly Father. I have felt the Holy Ghost and it confirms to me that this church has the restored gospel like unto the one Jesus place on the earth during his earthly ministry. I know that Joseph Smith was call by God himself to restore this church and to its former glory. I grateful for a loving Savior who died for me that I might be able to ask for forgiveness for my sins and mistakes in my life.

How I live my faith

I am up at Utah State living in the singles ward. I home teach a few of the students in my ward. I am called to be the sacrament coordinator to which I am honored to be. I 'm so grateful to have been called on a mission for the LDS church. I'm lucky enough to be called to serve in the Adriatic North Mission which includes Croatia, Slovenia, Serbia, and Bosnia & Herzegovina. I feel honored in going out and delivering His message of happiness and peace.

Mormons believe Jesus Christ is their Savior. Why do we need a Savior?

In this life, we will all make mistakes. However insignificant, we will all commit some form of sin. God requires perfection from us if we are to return into his presence. We believe that there needs to be a mediator between us an God if we are to both sin and become perfect beings. We believe that Jesus Christ is that mediator. He became that mediator after he performed the Atonement, allowing him to take all of our sins upon him so that justice for our sins can be satisfied and mercy can be given to those who access the mercy of Christ. To do so, we need to come before God and go through the process of repentance, only when that process is complete will you receive the peace and forgiveness that comes from God Show more Show less
