Hi I'm Tyler

I grew up in Kaysville. I love doing anything and everything in the outdoors. I have a wonderful family. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born in Washington state. I grew up in Utah. I love to do things outdoors. Such as watersking, snowsking, hiking, biking, rockclimbing, or just about anything else. I love spending time with my friends and getting to know new people. I love to read and I have a big imagination. I have a great family of three sisters and my parents. They are awesome and have helped me a lot. I am currently serving a mission in Concepcion Chile.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I have seen the blessings that come from being a Mormon and because it makes me happy. I was born into a Mormon family and for over a decade while I was growing up that was the reason why I was a Mormon. But now that I have grow up and left the protective arms of my parents I have learned of the truthfulness of this gospel. I have learned that by praying, reading my scriptures, and partaking of the sacrament I am happier. I am a Mormon because I know it is true.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by following the example my parents have set for me. They taught me to trust in the Lord. To open my heart up unto Him and share with Him my struggles and my fears. I live my faith by going to the weekly youth group my ward does. There I bond with other young men as we do service and do activities like sports and learning about careers we could pursue. I gain great strength from going and talking to my Bishop on a regular basis. He helps me to know of the things that I can do to become closer to God and how I can magnify my priesthood calling. I love reading the scriptures. The scriptures give me great peace. As I read them the stresses of my life seem to lessen and I am able to see the best way to proceed. I live my faith by trying to follow my Savior and help others. I listen for any prompting from the Holy Ghost, whether it is a thought or a feeling I always try to act on it. I then look back and am able to see the impact I made.
