Hi I'm Seyon

I grew up in Cambodia and was raised without a father. I love making people laugh. I love reading and drawing and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a workaholic who loves experiencing new things. In my village, I was the most favorite for elderly people. My friends say I am a crazy and funny creature that has a very weird personality. I love books especially thriller ones. I love serving people because they are children of God.

Why I am a Mormon

Well, I really love this church. I know this is God's true church. He teaches me to be a good person and to love others. Before deciding to get baptized, I have pondered a lot and there came an answer from the scripture I read that God has a plan for all of His children. I know the gospel of Jesus Christ is the only source that can provide you all the happiness that you need.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by partaking in every meeting and sharing love to others by helping them. I always go to visit members who are inactive, share the scriptures and ask them to be back in church. Sometimes I share my story to them even it's a bad or sadness story. I am called to serve in the primary class and I really love coming to church. I always feel happy when I go to church.

Where did Mormonism and The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints begin?

In 1820, a 14- year-old boy named Joseph Smith wondered which church he should join. He read about the Bible in James 1:5. It touched his feeling that he should only find God's help. Then God the father and the Son, Jesus Christ, appeared to him, and told not to join any other churches. Joseph Smith was called by God to restore the Church of Jesus Christ back to earth. In 1830, the Church was restored completely under the leadership of Joseph Smith. Now it has been known as the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints through the world. Show more Show less

Why is family so important to Mormons?

Family is the most important thing to God's plan for His children because in family we can serve, teach, love, and learn from each other. We cannot choose the situations of our birth but we can choose to make a happy family. Show more Show less
