Hi I'm Christian Tanner

I grew up in Utah. I am a scuba diver, an Eagle scout, and a pilot. I'm a future missionary, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born and raised in Utah, and have lived here all my life. I just recieved my mission call to the Stockholm, Sweden Mission. I report to the Provo MTC on May 29. Ironically enough, my mother is from Sweden, and grew up there through all her childhood. I am a citizen there as well. In the mean time, I am finishing my license to fly. I have always loved aviation, and can't wait to fly professionaly for an airline. My family and I have a huge interest in traveling and deep sea diving. I have been to Sweden, Finland, Switzerland, Italy, Denmark, and (sorta) Germany. As a certified open water diver, we have been on several trips to Mexico so we can explore the ocean.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the church. I found my testimony through serveral experiences in my life. One of the biggest events in my life that increased my testimony was going on trek. I have had powerful experiences with my friends, as well. Me and one of my best friends were at another friends house. We started talking about the Book of Mormon, and she asked why she needs to read it. And why she needs to follow the commandments. After a prayer and a few scriptures, we were all in tears. I am so grateful I had this opportunity. It has sparked a major desire for my decision to serve. I know the Lord wants me to serve. I know he loves us and wants the best for us. I know he sent Joseph Smith to translate the Book of Mormon and to restore His church on Earth again. I know that we are His children. And I know he will come again someday.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by being a full tithe payer, attending church weekly, following my parents counsel, and my decision to serve a full time mission.
