Hi I'm Terra

I love eating Ben & Jerry's while watching the Biggest Loser. I love being with my family & friends. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I believe the only way to change anything in your life is by first educating and changing yourself. I love being a mom and wife. I love eating out, really don't like to cook, but love watching anything on the Food Network. I like beating boys at anything that is assumed they would be better at than girls. I love being with my friends-whether it is to watch a movie, play laser tag or just go out to eat. If tv watching were a sport, I'd be in the final four for sure! I am a professional photographer and love using my talents to help others.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in the LDS church and have always known this is the church I wanted to be a part of. I love the sense of community-you always have friends wherever you live. I love doing service, and service is a huge part of being a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I know with all of my heart that the Book of Mormon was translated by Joseph Smith and teaches more about Jesus Christ, my Savior. I know that by living this religion it makes my life happier and more peaceful. I love having friends of all faiths and really love getting to know lots of new people. I know that we have a living prophet today, President Thomas S. Monson, who continues to get inspiration from our Heavenly Father. It is comforting to know there is still apostles on this Earth today, just as in the time of Jesus Christ. I feel so blessed by the knowledge I have gained from studying the Book of Mormon and the Bible together and know that it can help anyone have a happier life too!

How I live my faith

I have served in many callings for my church, mostly with teaching children. I was an elementary teacher for 4 years and love being around kids and seeing them learn. They tend to teach me more than I could ever teach them though! I have also been a camp director for girls camp, which I loved. I loved getting to know these teenage girls. Young Women's was always one of my favorite memories and it was so much fun being back with the young girls because it made me feel young too!
