Hi I'm Marreen

I grew up in Logan, Utah and Idaho Falls, Idaho. I am wife, mother, grandmother -- my favorite titles. I am a Mormon.

About Me

As a mother, education has been important to me. Education for my children & for myself. I went to school on the 23 year plan - two years before my marriage and then 20 years later, after all of our children were in high school or college or on missions, I went back to school and pursued a bachelors degree in Political Science. The decision to finish school and get a degree in political science has provided great opportunities. I have worked for a Congresswoman and US Senators. Opportunities have come to our family that would have never any other way. In addition to all of those opportunities, being a wife, a mom, and a grandmother has provide me with the most memorable experiences, the most joy, the truest peace and happiness.

Why I am a Mormon

Living the standards of the gospel makes me happy. Happy in this life and happy knowing that we have an eternal family and we will be together forever if we keep the commandments.

How I live my faith

I have had the opportunity to teach children, the youth, and adults. Great fun and a lot of energy came in working with cub scouts and seeing these "little boys" really learn and grow. Service has been a great part of my life. The opportunity to serve others has increased my faith in my Heavenly Father and His son, Jesus Christ. Through service I have learned that I truly am a daughter of our Heavenly Father and that He knows and loves me. I have also learned that the Savior loved me enough to atone for me, for all of us
