Hi I'm Beckah

I love to sing, swim, and swing dance! I'm graduating with my Bachelors in Nursing. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a busy college student finishing up my degree in nursing and I love life! I've stayed very busy the last year by working full time as a home health RN and finishing school full-time while fitting in social time with friends and fulfilling my church calling. I love doing anything outside in the summertime: boating, wakeboarding, rock-climbing, hiking, swimming, and four-wheeling. I love trying new things and staying busy.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because it is the source of peace and comfort in my life. I may not have ever been a member of another church, so some people may say I don't know what anything else is like. I would say, however, that because I have grown up as a member of the LDS church, I have felt an incredible love of my Father in Heaven and know that he loves and knows me as his daughter. I know that I can be with my family forever and I know that we were placed in families on the earth to learn from each other and strengthen each other. Eternal families are central to His plan for us. Of all the titles for God in the Bible and the Book of Mormon, he has chosen to be known as Heavenly Father. Families are eternal! I know that my elder brother, Jesus Christ, suffered for all sins and sorrows so that all may be resurrected and return to live with our Heavenly Father and himself. He is the ultimate example of charity and pure love and I strive daily to become more like my Savior. I know that by following the prophet on the earth today that I am following God's plan for his children. I know that God speaks to us today and that he is involved in all the details of our lives. He lives and He loves us!

How I live my faith

I live my faith by doing things each day to remind me of the covenants I have made with my Heavenly Father. I do my best to serve those around me and help others when they are struggling. For my previous church callings I have organized several large service projects for international organizations to send supplies around the world. In my current church calling I go on visits each week to see other sisters in my ward and plan activities to create unity among the sisters in my ward.
