Hi I'm Angela

I was born in Liverpool but moved to Great Yarmouth in Norfolk England when I was 2 I am a Mormon

About Me

I am a retired occupational therapist. I worked in mental health and especially family therapy. Now I love dog walking, gardening and flower arranging. I have 6 daughters and 2 stepsons 16 grandchildren and one great grandchild. I spend a lot of time doing school runs and taking the grandkids on outings such as catching crabs, swimming and bird watching. They bring me great joy in my life.

Why I am a Mormon

When I was 14 and my brother was 12 we decided to try a new church in 1958. We walked into a big old house which was now an LDS chapel We felt a really wonderful spirit and everyone was very friendly. We were told about a young boy who at the same age as me was confused about which of all the churches was true. After reading in James 1.5. He went into a grove of trees to ask God. While he was there he saw God and Jesus. I knew this really happened and felt so good to have found this church. On the way home I suggested my brother went ahead. I then prayed and asked God if I had found the truth. I burned within me and I knew it. When I returned home Ii told my parents we had found the truth. They were NOT pleased. However a year later missionaries taught them and they were converted and were baptised. A year later we went to our temple together and were sealed for time and eternity. We have all remained active in the church all our lives.

How I live my faith

I serve in the church teaching children. I also do voluntary work at our local school helping children to read. I also visit ladies in our church and share a spiritual message and help the elderly with shopping. I am blessed with a mother still here at 91 and like to take her out too.
