Hi I'm Carlos

I was born in Honduras. I was raised in the US. I'm serving in the Bel./Netherlands Mission.I love the gospel of Christ.

About Me

I am about to leave on a mission for my church for two years to the Belgium/Netherlands Mission. I love music and to compose music. Sharing my joys with others is what truly makes me happy, like sharing music jokes, talking, spending time, going in the woods with friends...that includes sharing the happiness I find in the Gospel with others...simply because I love and care for those around me, and I want to share with them something that has made me happy in my life. I love spending time with my family and my best friends. More than anything, I love taking pictures with my best friend and brother about the places we have conquered with our awesomeness.

Why I am a Mormon

I have known about the gospel since my birth. I was born of goodly parents and I tried my best to learn everything they know. Even though I'm older, I keep realizing they know so much more than I sometimes give them credit for. I love my parents. But, don't get me wrong, I didn't follow them blindly into the gospel. At first, yes, I learned about the gospel through them, but in my early youth i realized the necessity for me to know. To know. I received my answer one day as I was reading the scriptures with my family. They weren't paying attention to me particularly, when out of the blue I felt the strongest feeling like my heart wanted to explode and yet fly to the sky and up to Heaven. As I felt that, I noticed I was crying. From what I had learned from my parents, I knew it was the Spirit and there was no way I could deny that. I knew it.

How I live my faith

I live my faith day by day with a perspective of the future. I do my best to read the scriptures and pray every day. I feel a certain power that comes when I kneel to pray to show respect to our Lord. I am a little piece of everybody around me as I learn from the virtues, talents, and gifts of others. I help out our youth to plan wholesome activities and as we do we pray over every single one of our youth to be able to plan activities that will benefit our specific youth. We love them and we realize that they all have great potential. I learn from them and our wonderful leaders as I follow their council humbly.
