Hi I'm Ryan Johnson

I'm a musician. I grew up in Japan. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a Senior at my high school and am involved with the music program there, playing saxophone. I grew up in Gotemba, Japan during my early youth and grew up going to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Why I am a Mormon

I have stayed with the church from birth and have wavered in my early teen years. The world is always so complicated and a lot of times causes lots of stress and discomfort. I found the church to be a great comfort to myself and found the scriptures to be a great place to relieve myself of the world and great place to learn. I found that when I was able to apply the scriptures into my life, I was a lot happier and those around me were also happy. After a long continuation of this I realized full on that the scriptures were from our Heavenly Father. After reading the Book of Mormon and praying and asking God if it was the true, the answer didn`t come right away, but after a long while of acting on promptings and taking a step back and looking back on my life I realized where the truth was.

How I live my faith

My friends and I like to try to relate our daily lives and activities to church scripture. We also like to talk about amazing experiences we had in the course of a day. Service has also helped my group bring us closer to each other.
