Hi I'm Nate

I'm a missionary in the northeast of England. I'm a Mormon!

About Me

I have one older brother and two younger sisters. I spend a lot of time in the mountains around my home. I ski, mountain bike, hike, and camp a lot with my family. I like jumping on trampolines and learning new tricks.

Why I am a Mormon

I know that Jesus Christ is my redeemer. I know that through His atonement, I can find joy. He has given me all, so I should give my all to Him. I know from reading and praying about the Book of Mormon that it is true, and I know that God loves me and helps me every day.

How I live my faith

Every day I do my best to follow Christ. I go to the temple often. I visit and uplift my neighbors. I invite others to build their faith and feel the warmth that the Spirit brings. I live worthy to feel the Holy Ghost so those I teach can also feel the comfort that the Holy Ghost brings.

Why don’t Mormons drink coffee, tea, or alcohol? What is the Mormon Church’s law of health and proper diet?

Nate
Drugs and alcohol have strong chemicals that impair judgement and often lead us to do things we shouldn't do. Any amount of alcohol can dull our senses. Likewise, Coffee and tea have strong effects that can alter our thinking, and can lead to addiction. God has made these commandments so our minds and be more fully focused on what He would have us do. Show more Show less
