Hi I'm Josh

I'm from England, I'm a student, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born in Macclesfield, England but moved to Coventry, England when I was just 2 years old. There, I grew up with my mum and two younger sisters. From 2010 to 2012 I served a mission for the church in Calgary, Canada and loved every second of it! I currently live in London where I study Geophysics. I enjoy music, science, cycling, squash, the great outdoors, and spending time with friends and family.

Why I am a Mormon

I was taught the gospel by my mother from the day I was born! I feel grateful that I was raised in a home that helped me to develop faith in Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ from a young age. This faith helped me to remain faithful in my youth, despite being the only member of the church in my school of over 1000 students. Although I have known the gospel is true ever since I can remember, it wasn't until I was 18 years old that I began to truly love it. During this time I began to prepare fully for my mission, and give greater devotion to the Lord than ever before. It was then that the Holy Ghost put thoughts and feelings in my heart and mind, and I truly knew that Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ live and love me. Every day since, my testimony has been strengthened. I continue to follow His gospel because the Holy Ghost confirms to me that it is true. It brings so much peace and happiness to my life, and I know that if I remain faithful, I will be able to return to live with my Heavenly Father and with my family for eternity after this life.

How I live my faith

Once I received a testimony and love for the gospel, a desire came to share it with others. This lead me to serve a mission for the church for two years in Calgary, Canada. There I was able to share with people what I knew to be true, and help them to find that testimony for themselves. Today I still continue to try and share the gospel with others so that it may bless their lives like it has blessed mine. I also love to serve both inside and outside the church however I can. Serving the Lord and others gives me great joy and a love for those around me. My faith in Jesus Christ gives me the desire to follow Him, be like Him, and treat others the way He would treat them.
