Hi I'm Lynn

I live in Massachusetts, I own a small business, I have 3 children. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love researching about my ancestors and building my family tree. I love the Boston Bruins. I'm a mom of 2 girls and 1 boy.

Why I am a Mormon

My friend and I each had 2 small children. I had been raised Catholic and she was raised Lithuanian. She was looking for the true church and we were both looking for a church that would have good programs for our children. I didn't know what she really meant by "true church". We went to a few different churches and then one day the missionaries knocked on her door. She told them that she was busy and asked if they could come back the next day. Well the next day they came back to see her. When I talked to her next she had quit smoking, just like that! I asked her how? and she said that it was a weird but that she had been meeting with the missionaries and that they had told her that in order to join this church you needed to follow the "word of wisdom" revealed in the early 1800's to the Prophet Joseph Smith from God that we shouldn't smoke, drink coffee or tea, due to tanic acids in them, misuse drugs.... . She was able to quit smoking! I began talking to the missionaries and liked what I heard, but more importantly what I felt. I felt that everything that they taught made sense and that I wanted to keep going to see what the church services were like. I feel a great comfort to know the things that I now know. I know that there is only one Heavenly Father and that there is only one true church on the earth, The Church of Jesus Christ of Later-Day Saints. I have never regretted my decision to be baptized and I love the life that I have and most importantly the knowledge that I have of the eternities, it has given me a complete perspective of life.

How I live my faith

I've been a member since 1996. I have done many things over the years as a member to contribute: Sunday school teacher for the little ones, serving in helping those members in need that may be sick, had a baby recently, moving...
