Hi I'm Metrova

Hi I am a Mormon I was born in Beckenham, I became a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in 1985.

About Me

I'm a Grandmother who retired last year. I have two sons and a daughter. I love doing my family history and discovered Scottish ancestry as well as West Indian and Ghanaian. I'm interested in history and read a lot of historical novels and watch historical documentaries on TV. I love animals especially dogs and used to horse ride in my younger days. I also like reading, going to the theatre and most kinds of music. I like to go to different countries and have been to quite a number.

Why I am a Mormon

I was searching for answers to questions which my former church was unable to answer when the missionaries knocked on my door. When they came in to speak to me I knew immediately what I was being taught was true and had the lessons and I was baptised soon after in 1985. Becoming a member has changed my life. I enjoy the lessons that are prepared for us each Sunday and literature that we have which guides my every step of life. There are activities all through the week including help in finding ancestors.

How I live my faith

I love to serve in the church and in the community. I live my faith by trying my best to be the best example to my family and friends that I can be. Sharing my testimony whenever I can, when people want to listen. through daily prayer I can draw closer to my Heavenly Father and come to understand my full potential.
