Hi I'm Alisha

I am a Utah girl. True blue BYU Cougar who is preparing to serve the Lord in the Philippines.

About Me

I am a senior at Brigham Young University seeking a degree in Psychology. My interests include basically anything dealing with the outdoors especially athletics. I am a high school softball coach and it is one of the many things that make me happy.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been extremely blessed with supportive parents who participated in the Indian Placement Program in their youth. They left their families on the Navajo Reservation during the school year to take advantage of the education system in Utah. While attending school in Salt Lake City, Utah and Heber City, Utah they became immersed in the Gospel of Jesus Christ and it has changed our family for eternity.. Through the hard times they faced my parents stayed strong in their faith. I have seen how the Gospel of Jesus Christ saves and changes lives for the better. It has blessed my life eternally and I know that Heavenly Father loves all of his Children. He knows who we are and he loves us despite our shortcomings and mistakes. Through the atonement of Jesus Christ we can repent of our sins and live with our families forever. My parents faith of the Gospel of Jesus Christ has blessed my life and the life of those yet unborn into our family.

How I live my faith

I have been called to serve in the Philippines Urdaneta Mission! I report to the Provo MTC on June 5, 2013 and I couldn't be more excited. My ward and family have been a huge support as I have decided to serve the Lord for 18 months.
