Hi I'm Lucas Nicholson

I'm a North Dakotan and serving a mission on the Navajo Nation Reservation. I love to learn about lots of things. And I'm a Mormon

About Me

I am Lucas! I love to play sports and can be pretty competitive with them. I played football, basketball, and baseball in high school and wrestled and ran track in middle school. I am serving my mission in the New Mexico Farmington mission and I am loving it! There is no better way to learn the Gospel then to share it. And, it is 100% true! I have a lot of partial plans, but I don't have a whole lot of time to really contemplate any yet. I would love to live on a ranch but I don't know anything about ranching. Kinda odd.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the church, so I consider myself lucky. I did become a little bet less active in it for a while though. But, someone took the time to come knock on my door and invite me back. I went for it. I just jumped in and didn't look back. And I saw the changes. I saw that this really did help me. Because I had the opportunity to come back in full activity, I also got to become more converted to God. That's why I'm a Mormon. I wanted to come closer to Him and I know that the only way to do that is by living the fullness of the Gospel, which is only found in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. That's why I'm a Mormon. Because it brings me closer to God and offers the opportunity to be forgiven of my sins and live with my family for time and all eternity. I love it

How I live my faith

I go out every day and knock on doors and talk to as many people as I can each day about the awesome message that we have. I have never been more happy and more tired! I also know that if I live the way that God commands me too, He blesses me and those I love. He helps out when I need it...which is every single day. I just love it. The Gospel is true. If you don't know for sure about that, read and ponder about the Book of Mormon. You will get that spiritual witness and you will have the truth in your life. Then you can live it and grow to love it, just like I have!
