Hi I'm Bahe Billy

I was born in Leupp, AZ. I worked as a Soil Scientist for 18 years on the Navajo Reservation. I am an artist and singer.

About Me

I was on the Indian Placement program from 1950 to 1955. My foster parents lived in Fayette Utah. I used to run on the track team. I worked for the Bureau of Indian Affairs for 18 years. I also taught Math at a community college and studied to be a mortician. My hobbies include being an artist and singing traditional songs in Navajo.

Why I am a Mormon

Joined the Church after participating in all phases of church activities. I went to Seminary in high school and then it just felt right to join the church. I gained a testimony of the gospel by living it.

How I live my faith

I was a branch president, councilor in the bishopric and primary teacher. My main focus was to work with branches on the Navajo Reservation. I loved serving in the Snowflake temple as an ordinance worker.
