Hi I'm Allen

I was born while my father was a missionary. I have a testimony of Jesus Christ.

About Me

I love fishing and hunting, camping and outdoors. I love to be active. I have a beautiful wife, 8 children, and 12 grandchildren. I have been involved with Boy Scouts for many years. I went to university through Brigham Young University, University of Puget Sound and University of Illinois Dental College. I learned sprinkler and irrigation fitting and am very handy. I can repair a lot of things and have finished rooms inside our home and landscaped outside.

Why I am a Mormon

I began life in a family that belonged to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. As I grew and matured, I realized that I needed to know of these truths for myself. Certainly, having had background knowledge that I was a spiritual being and that God was my father in heaven, I wanted to know of the truth of these things for myself. Consequently, I found that by reading, studying, pondering and praying, God was able to reveal to me the truth of these things. Thus I found the peace of living the gospel to be a great comfort to me. I am committed to living the truths that I know and continuing to learn more of them. This is and will be a lifelong endeavour.

How I live my faith

I was born into an active family in the LDS faith. I have had the advantage of learning about Jesus Christ since I was a very young man. I sang and talked in church as a youth in the youth organization called Primary. I also later spoke and sang in regular church meetings. I went as a missionary to the French East Mission where I taught the gospel of Jesus Christ to as many people as possible. Upon returning home, I continued my church service in my local LDS church units by loving and teaching various youth groups. As I continued my college career, I continued to teach others about Jesus Christ and lead them by precept and example. I helped the local leaders in the LDS church by teaching youth and adults, counselling others, assisting people with personal problems involving tests and trials in this life, making appointments for other leaders, serving the young men in various Boy Scouts of America assignments, teaching the doctrines of the gospel of Jesus Christ in the outdoors and in the church classrooms. I have also married a righteous, beautiful lady in God's Washington DC Temple for time and eternity. We have raised and taught 8 wonderful children the gospel of Jesus. We have 12 grandchildren who are being taught righteous principles also. I am continuing my commitment to live righteously and to fulfill my obligations to God for His blessing me by serving as a a Missionary again now.
