Hi I'm Ryan

I was born in Australia, I live in England, I love having fun and being a big kid and I'm a Mormon

About Me

I was born in Queensland and moved to Devonport, Tasmania when i was 5. I have finished college and got accept into a Pharmacy course at UTAS. I decided though to serve a mission for the church first and am currently serving in the England London South mission. In my spare time i enjoy hanging out with my friends from all over Tasmania just chatting. I also love playing sports or participating in any other outdoor recreational activity. My family is also very important to me, my 2 Brothers and 2 Sisters and my Niece and Nephews. Family is everything to me and life wouldn't be the same without them. As a family we have seen a lot of the world including China,New Zealand and America

Why I am a Mormon

I have grown up in the church as my parents are members but it wasn't till i was in my mid teens that i really gained a testimony of the truthfulness of the gospel. Like most people i read the Book of Mormon and at the end of the book there is a promise that if we ask sincerely about whether the church is true heavenly Father will tell us through spirit whether it is true. I got the answer that it was true and ever since then i have had a massive desire to follow his teachings and to live more in line with the will that God has for me. I can honestly say that Heavenly Father lives and loves everyone greatly, Jesus Christ lived and still lives and he suffered the atonement so that we might live forever and have the ability to repent and live with Heavenly Father. The Book of Mormon is true and i know that it was correctly translated by Joseph Smith and that he also restored Christ church in its fullness to the earth.

How I live my faith

In my local community i have been a member of a golf club, Kung Fu Gym and a boxing club. I try to be open about my beliefs and not let these activities affect my participation in my religion either on Sunday or effect my beliefs. In my local Ward i am a teacher and teach a lesson twice a month to a group of men. Once a month i have the privelage along with another one of the members from my ward to visit the home of some other members in our ward and have a small lesson but to get to know them and find was in which we can help serve those members whether it be physcially or helping them prepare for any spiritual event that may be in that families life.
