Hi I'm Gunnar

I'm a husband, I'm a father, I'm a teacher, I'm a learner, I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am the husband to my beautiful wife Alexa and together we have one son, Lincoln. I'm the oldest of 5 kids. I've been studying to become a teacher at Brigham Young University-Idaho for a few years now. I love history, singing, dancing (especially tap), making new friends, writing letters and adding things to the list of about 12,7826 things that I want to before I die, including: how to sail a boat, play the cello, write a book, earn a PhD, grow a garden, and many others. I've served a mission for the church in Brazil and upstate New York, and I hope one day to be a professional religious instructor for the church.

Why I am a Mormon

Most people say they aren't perfect. I can say with conviction say that I have gained a true KNOWLEDGE that I'm not. Being a Mormon gives me hope that though I'm not perfect, and though to the rest of the world, may not seem worth it. I know in my heart that there is a God and that though compared to him I am nothing, I truly am everything to him, and that through his son Jesus Christ, I can be made perfect eventually. So, in essence, the Gospel gives me the hope of true, lasting, and enduring happiness.

How I live my faith

Though outwardly it might be hard to tell, I deeply devoted to what I believe and know is the truth of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Most of the things that I do are private, like scripture study and prayer, but I do my best to live in such a way that will show indirectly to those around me that I love my Savior and believe in the things that my religion teaches. There are times where I may be a little overzealous, but that is simply because of the happiness I feel living the way I do.
