Hi I'm Suzi

I am Brazilian in London. I like to sing and to cook. I am starting a new career in marketing admin. And yes, I am a Mormon!! :)

About Me

I am a Brazilian Lady from a huge family of 10 siblings. I love to have a big family and I do miss the time when we all were little or at least living in the same city. A simple reunion was a big party! I am starting a new career in Marketing after have done a MBA and I am excited for my new challenge.

Why I am a Mormon

My parents where converted before I even was born; Yes, I was born and grew up in a Mormon Family. My father use to say that: "when he met the missionaries and after the had learned about the Mormons, their faith and believes; he thought himself that it should be biggest lie that he never ever had heard before or the pure real truth." After his first meeting with the missionaries, he decided to continuous searching and praying to know if that was true and he felt that all what he had being learning was true. He changed his life and got baptised and with him my mother, his mother and my oldest sister. And that was the start of my Mormon Family. For me, growing up as Mormon was normal, I was so used with all the teachings and our way of 'Mormon life' and it was fine for me. Because I knew that was good living in that way, nothing that I had being thought such as be good to my brothers and others, be honest, be generous, be polite and etc was bad at all. However, time came that I had to know by myself because I didn't want just going to church because of my parents and because I was used to do it. I had to know too like my parents knew. So I did started to pray, to study in order to know by myself if the gospel was true and I felt such good feeling that what I have being learning, living was true. Today I am a Mormon not because of my parents but because I know it is true.

How I live my faith

I try to put in practise what I have being learning with the gospel of Jesus Christ. I am not perfect and I do not think I will achieve perfection in this life. However, I do my best to be polite, to be good, to be glad, to be sharing, to be humble, to be a good helper, to be a loving and happy person despite of what people or life brings to me. My colleagues and friends says that I am always with a smile on my face and ready to help even if I am sad or tired. For me that is the light of the gospel of Jesus Christ in my life. And yes, I do try to be like Jesus and being like him I believe that his light keeps shinning not just on us but on all others that is around us. And doing some good to others brings us such a good feeling... : ) Also, knowing that God is my Heavenly Father who loves me and wants me to come back home after my learning and growing through experiencing this life with all its trials, tests, happiness and sadness; knowing that he is someone close to me like my hearth Father, that I can talk to, sometimes even argue with; that I can ask for blessings, help; that I can thank for and tell the good news and everything else; Knowing that he is and will be there always for me no matter what giving me peace, hope, strength to continuous keeping pushing forward and not giving up life and people and making me feel that all will be fine at the end; it makes me comforted and brave to see life in a different perspective, in a better way.
