Hi I'm Sam Hauber

I'm a full-time missionary. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I've gone from the East Coast to the West Coast! I've grown up in Florida but I am now serving a mission in California. I've grown up in the church and gone to BYU. I taught early morning seminary for about 8 weeks before I left on my mission and it was the most rewarding calling i've ever had. I absolutely LOVE ultimate frisbee but i've played just about every other sport you can name for fun. I love the beach and the mountains so growing up in Florida and going to school in Utah i couldn't tell you which is my favorite place to live 'cause I love both!

Why I am a Mormon

I love being a Mormon! One of the biggest reasons why I'm a Mormon is because of what this gospel has done for my family. I was raised in a gospel centered home and the more I see of the world, the more I realize how blessed I am to have such a wonderful family. The gospel of Jesus Christ, taught in our home through family home evening, family scripture study, family prayer, and other family oriented church activities has kept me physically and spiritually safe in this ever chaotic world. Because we are all Mormons it has increased our love for each other and kept peace and harmony in our home. Through the priesthood power held by this church, my family will be together forever. I can't pinpoint any specific moment where everything "clicked". But by diligently keeping the commandments and honoring my covenants my testimony has grown and my conversion has deepened. What I know, I know by the power of the Holy Ghost. And I cannot deny the truths that I have received from God. I know that this Church is true. That God is the same yesterday, today, and forever. Every time I testify of the restoration of Christ's church on the earth my conviction and faith deepens. Every time I prayerfully read the Book of Mormon I feel God's love. As I follow the council of the Lord's servants, I am blessed. As I go to God in faith, He always answers.

How I live my faith

I've organized service projects as a youth and supported my friends in their eagle scout projects. Doing everything from painting parking lots to laying gravel sidewalks. In my ward i've taught the youth ages 14-18 Monday-Friday at 6:00 am. We call it early morning seminary and cover the 4 books of scripture we believe in which are the Old Testament, New Testament, Book of Mormon, and Doctrine and Covenants. I'm currently serving a mission for the church in Sacramento. I am here to invite others to come unto Christ.
