Hi I'm Zeke Wilkerson

I'm from Riverton, Utah. I enjoy sports, movies, music, technology, and much more. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My family includes 4 other siblings, and my parents. I am the eldest with three younger sisters and one younger brother. My family means the world to me. I love to play all types of sports. My favorites are the typical american sports: baseball, basketball, and american football, but I play whatever, and whenever possible. I love the country side and mountains. ATV rides and shooting are some other things I like to do in my free time. Playing Video-games is something else I enjoy in my free time. I am not very good but still enjoy it. I am currently in the United Kingdom serving in the England Manchester Mission and loving every bit of it.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in the church and went with my parents every Sunday. When I was a teen I wanted to learn for myself whether or not this is the right path and to follow that which I had been living. I had been told countless times to read the Book of Mormon, which was the way to find out for myself. So I read it, studied it, and prayed about it. While praying I recieved a very strong feeling and impression that was very specific: this is true. It went through my mind for quite a long time and I decided that I needed to act on it. I knew, from reading the scriptures, that you can know if it is from God or not by what it gives and produces. As I took a more serious look at the church and the Gospel I found my life getting better. I was happier and enjoying life a lot more, yet nothing had really changed in my everyday life. I knew that the happiness was coming from God and it was because I was living His Gospel. I know that the Gospel and this church is true and there is so much we can gain from it, even Eternal Life and the chance to be with our families for eternity. What a blessing this is. I am extremely grateful for it and the time I took to read, study, ponder, and act on it. I will never regret it.

How I live my faith

I am currently serving in the England Manchester Mission and love it. There is so much that I have learned, developed, and grown with the gospel and I am extremely grateful for it. I love reading the scriptures, particularly the Book of Mormon. Studying the scriptures is fantastic. My daily prayers have helped in so many ways and I know that I am talking to a loving Father in Heaven. My day-to-day activities are centered around helping others, sharing the Gospel, building others faith, and growing our faith as well. There is so much good that has come from living my faith. I wouldn't be half the person I am today if I didn't have it in my life.

What do Mormons believe about family?

Zeke Wilkerson
Family is very important to us, as it is to so many in the world today. One of the things that we believe and find strength in is that we are able to be with our families for all eternity. Those loved ones that pass on we know we are able to see again after this life. Families bring joy and are the main center for learning when growing up. We also believe that the family is the basic unit of society and as families are strong, the community and society are also strong, and visa-versa. If your family is important to you, I don't believe there is any better way to show that love for them than by wanting to be with them for eternity and loving them unconditionally. Families are important to God, especially since we are all part of his family. They are places were His children can learn, love, grow, and become the people that He wants them to be.
