Hi I'm Shaylor

I was raised in Utah. I love being outside. Sports are my passion. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I have 3 sisters and no brothers in my family. I have been called to serve in the Czech/Slovak Mission speaking Czech. I will be attending UVU or BYU when I return from my mission. I was on the Jordan Varsity Lacrosse Team every year that I attended High School. During my senior year I was the captain and leading scorer of the team. I love going out and playing different sports with my friends. I love being outdoors whether its going on hikes, snowboarding, or just playing some kind of sport. I love to golf in the summer and in the winter I try to snowboard as much as possible. I love all kinds of art, especially calligraphy. I love to eat! I especially love bread. Rolls, bagels, you name it! Overall I love to be physically active, I love this Gospel, and I enjoy a variety of things!

Why I am a Mormon

I love this gospel!! I was raised up in its teachings. My dad is a convert to the Church and his conversion story has been my inspiration. He has touched so many people's lives who have had issues with addictions. I want to be just like him. His example resembles the Savior Jesus Christ and that is who I strive to be like. I found out for myself that this Church is true by reading the Book of Mormon, pondering its message, and sincerely asking through prayer to my Father in Heaven to know if he is there and if this gospel is a message of truth. I have recognized how blessed I have been because of my wonderful parents who have been so loving. They have taught me the gospel truths and have helped me to create a personal relationship with my Heavenly Father. Any pains, struggles, heartache, can be overcome through this gospel and that knowledge to me is just amazing. It has helped me in my life to become successful, confident, and happy. I have good friends that have helped me get to this point in my life and the other members of my church have helped me be strong and faithful.

How I live my faith

Going to church, going to seminary classes, and serving a mission are ways that I live my faith. I am serving a mission because I want people to know of the truth and have the same happiness that I have. I don't follow what the world is doing. I'm different and that is not a problem with me. I have participated in Special Needs Mutual and I love working with others. I love this Church and I want to share it with those around me!
