Hi I'm Edita

Jesus Christ love us and is willing to help us, we just have to believe! He is the Son of God and He came to save us.

About Me

I am a very enthusiastic person. I have always prefered to see a more half-full glass than a half-empty one. I am a true believer that from sacrifice brings blessings. Jesus Christ is always there for me, He is my Stone, my Leader and my light in all darkness.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a mormon because many years ago a couple of missionaries knocked our door and taught my family the Restored Gospel of my Savior Jesus Christ. There is no other thing for which I am more thankful than for the blessing Heavenly Father gaved me and my loved ones of knowing more about Him and knowing how to return back home in order to live with Him once again and for eternity.

How I live my faith

I have always believed that the best testimony which any can share is a good attitude and an exemplary behavior in the service to others. Jesus have taught us to love us one another, so by following His teachings any can get more closer to our Heavenly Father.

Why are Mormons asked to donate 10% of their income to their Church?

Edita
Since I am a Mormon I had no problem with paying tithes, I knew that that money was to be set apart for God, and that it would not be right if I left it for me. Last year our family finances began to give some fluctuations, reaching the time I decided not pay tithing, in order to try to fill some other needs. In my mind it was never the idea of robbing the Lord, I always told myself: you'll pay that later. However, my mind was telling me I had not made the right decision, so I decided to talk to the Lord and repent for using what was never mine, and promised Him I would never stop tithing again no matter what. Four months later, the situation had not improved much and I was faced with the critical situation of paying tithing or use the money to complete the cost of the expenses of my graduation. I knew if I did not pay the expenses of graduation that week I could not be able to graduate, but I also knew I had to keep my promise to the Lord; the Lord's words: "... try Me in this" - Malachi 3:10, echoed in my mind and heart. I knew that God could not lie, so I decided to pay my tithe without delay as I promised. The next day the windows of heaven were really opened, the Lord touched the heart of my uncle to lend me the money for graduation expenses, and later He also provided me in order to return the loan to my uncle. I am very happy to have the word of God in the Scriptures, by obeying His laws we are perfected in him, and in the end all is well. Show more Show less
