Hi I'm Chelsea

I'm always smiling and I love to talk! I love life and surrounding myself with friends and family! I'm a Mormon!

About Me

I grew up in a small mid-western town. I'm the oldest of 4 children. I'm a Wife and I'm a Mother to two Heaven-sent kiddos of my own! I love reading, writing, learning, traveling, cooking, nature and meeting new people. I've been down my share of rough roads and I've made some decisions that weren't the best, but I made it through and I'm here! Happy, healthy, blessed beyond words; and ready to share my story with anyone interested!

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints; but when I was a teenager, through a series of events, I lost my faith. 4 years later: I had a son and found my Husband; but over the next year we all faced many life altering events: We almost lost my Son, our Daughter was born with a terminal disease, I lost someone incredibly close to me and we went bankrupt and lost everything. We had no place to go, could barely feed our kids; our Daughter was in and out of the hospital; our Son had began showing symptoms of health problems and I couldn't work. For the first time in my life, I found myself hugging a random bible I had found, crying and fervently praying to my Heavenly Father - Over the course of a few weeks, my Husband stumbled onto a better paying job, we found a home, our Daughter's health steadied, and we started getting answers for my Son's issues. Where we had previously had nothing, we found money, food and people willing to help. Today, we are happy, healthy, stable and I am constantly remembering to pray and thank God. I am a Mormon, because even though I turned my back on God, he never once left me. I have explored other churches, but I have never felt the spirit of our Heavenly Father, as I have in our Churches. I was shown that everything I had been taught was TRUE. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, is the one true Church of our Savior. This is my testimony and I have never been more sure of anything in my life.

How I live my faith

I life my faith through love and compassion! God and Jesus Christ love us all equally and without fail! It's a love more perfect than any one person can comprehend - I try to be the best example of their love, that I can and that I know how to be! I always have a smile, a kind word and a helping hand for all those I encounter each day. I believe that everyone is going through their own "something"; and I believe that you can improve anyone's day, just by making yourself available! I believe that the Lord uses each one of us, to strengthen another; and all someone may need is just to be noticed or to know that there is someone there, willing to help, however they can! I also work hard to volunteer in my community and I always try to set an example for those around me. -- I also live my faith by telling my own story, of my life and experiences.
