Hi I'm Nikki

I live in a small town. I love going on adventures. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm Nikki. I live in a small town and hope to live in a small town for the rest of my life. I have gone to college for one year. I loved it! Classes were hard and I spent a lot of time studying but I loved it all. I figure I'll be in school for a while so I might as well enjoy it while I'm there. My favorite parts of college were meeting so many new people and making so many new friends. The best way to have fun is on some type of field or court or being up in the mountains. My friends and I were either playing some type of intramural game: flag football, softball, volleyball etc. Or we were always up to something crazy going "adventuring" in the mountains whether it was finding caves, bunny bashing, having bon fires, or riding around on four wheelers. I love being in the great outdoors and experiencing all that God has given us in this life!

Why I am a Mormon

Both of my parents are mormon and I was born into this church. I made the decision on my own when I was 8 years old to be a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. It always felt right when I was young and that is why I chose to be baptized. As I have gotten older, there was a time in my life where I questioned the church and really wanted to know if it was truly Christ's church once again restored to the earth. I read the Book of Mormon and really prayed wanting to gain an answer. The answer I got was a calm and peaceful feeling. It just made sense, it just felt right. And I couldn't deny it. Since that moment I have continued reading the scriptures and going to church and really striving to follow the example of the Savior as he lived a perfect life. The happiness I feel from living the gospel is indescribable. I find so much peace and guidance and I couldn't imagine living my life in any other way.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by trying to do what the Savior would do. Its hard at times but I really just try to be a kind and friendly person to all those around me. I loved being around people whether its in church, in the community, at work, school, or playing sports. I really try to treat people and love them they way I would want them to treat and love me. No ones perfect and I think if I just brighten someone's day everyday, then I have made a difference in the world.
