Hi I'm Cara

I'm quiet. I'm loud. I'm deliberate. I'm random. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in a small town in Canada situated between "here" and "there," surrounded by family and the LDS church. I have four siblings and a goldfish. We like to tease, yet behind all the loudness we really do love each other. I am attending university in the United States but taking time off to serve a mission in England. I like old fashioned things because of their simplicity, quality and quirkiness. I love photography because it lets me show others the strange way I see the world. I love being Mormon because of the calm and joy it brings into my life.

Why I am a Mormon

I like to think I know myself and where I'm headed; then I do something and BAM! I have to rethink everything. The one thing that has kept me sane and happy is the knowledge that I have a Father in heaven who loves me and has a plan for me. When I say "knowledge" I really mean it. Sure, you could say I'm a Mormon because my family is, but that is only half of it. They gave me an opportunity to accept this gospel and I took it, but only after a lot of time, thought, and prayer. I have been guided and comforted so many times it's hard to keep track. He has always been there for me - now it's my turn.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by being my crazy happy self, by finding ways to help others, by seeing everyone as their best self, and by always working to become my very best.
