Hi I'm Mickey

I'm a convert to the church. I'm a retired steel worker. I now enjoy working in my woodshop. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a male 65 years old. I joined the church in 1969. I am married with four children and 16 grandchildren. I served my country during the Viet Nam war and my wife and I lived in Las Vegas Nev. where I was introduced to the church, and shortly there after joined. I am retired and spend a lot of my time working in my woodshop creating pictures and a variety of other wood items. I also enjoy traveling with my wife, fishing, hunting, backpacking.

Why I am a Mormon

Once I studied and prayed about whether the church was true, the feelings I received were beyond denying. I knew then as I do now that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is TRUE. I love the Book of Mormon. It teaches us how to live and use correct principals to govern our lives. The church has helped me so much in raising my family. It has answered my questions as to where we came from, why we are here, and where we are going when we leave this existence. I truly do not know where I would be without the church.

How I live my faith

I have enjoyed my many callings in the church. I have served as Branch President , served in the youth programs, taught Sunday school in many different capacities, ward mission leader, and am now serving as our Sunday school president.
