Hi I'm Kimberly Clark

I am a writer. I am an actress. I live with a family of Bipolars. I am a Mormon.

About Me

My name is Kimberly and I am 19 years old. I love to read, write stories, act, be outdoors (climb, hike, ski, camp, etc), go to Disneyland, serve, and spend time with my family. I'm going to collage currently and I've just been called to serve a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints for a period of 18 months. I love the church and I love my Savior. In lue of sounding cheesy and cliche, my favorite activities consist of smiling and laughing with the people I love.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I choose to be. When I was 13 years old I attended Seminary with some friends. I was raised in the church but never really had a testimony of my own as to why I wanted to live the LDS faith. That year in Seminary we studied the book of mormon and something came over me, like this new desire to really understand this church thing. I began to study the book of mormon and pray about it and something crazy happened: I was so much happier. I was gaining confidence in myself and I understood that what I was reading and praying about was true. I love this Gospel because of how it makes me feel and how it makes me a better and more loving person. Life is still hard, but because I've chosen to live the true Gospel of Jesus Christ, I can manage life so much better now. I can understand more about life and people and how I can help them. This Gospel has given me the desire and drive to love and serve others. I love being a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints because it's true, it makes sense, and it fills me with an uncomprehensible sense of peace, joy, and hope.

How I live my faith

I live my faith everyday in everyway. I attend church meetings every Sunday where I have the priveledge of teaching and playing with the younger kids. My mom and I also have the opportunity to sing in our church choir! Getting involved is so much fun for me, ecspecially when we get to do service projects for people around the neighborhood. The youth programs in the church are also fun and engaging, one of my favorites being Girl's Camp where the girls in our neighborhood get to go camping, hiking, river rafting, and other fun activities.

What do Mormons believe is the purpose of life?

Kimberly Clark
There is a purpose to life. The Church of Jesus Christ teaches us that we were sent to this earth with a individual and divine purpose. In accordance with this purpose we were sent here to receive a physical body, exercise our agency in making decisions, form relationships that can last forever, and to learn and gain experience and knowledge that will help us to grow and reach our full potential as children of God. This is part of God's plan of Happiness. We were called to learn, teach, and to love others on this earth and we do it so that we can gain lasting happiness and become all that we were meant to become. Show more Show less
