Hi I'm Morgann Younce

Hey! I'm morgann Younce. Soon to be Hermana Younce. I have been called to serve in the Ecuador, Guayaquil North mission.

About Me

I'm 19 years old! I am a private nanny, I take care of a 2 year old little girl 4 days a week. I have a passion for the beauty industry an one day dream to be a professional hairstylist. I also would like to work with special needs kids. I have 3 siblings. And currently live with my parents. I am leaving may 8th to serve a mission for The Church Of Jesus Christ Of Latter-Day Saints. I love to have fun, sing, laugh, and surround myself with happy fun loving people!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know that this church is the true church of Christ. I have been raised in the church, but whether you are raised in the church or not there comes a time in ones life when you convert to it yourself. This has happened to me multiple times. It started in high school. I never hung out with members of the church, and at first I didn't care what people thought of me until one day I told someone I was Mormon and they were shocked...that really hurt me. I wanted people to know I was Mormon by the way I was living my life. So starting that day I made some serious changes. It took a long time and still to this day I'm not 100% but I am doing my best. People frequently ask how can you be Mormon? Isn't it hard? How do you handle all those rules? Over time I have come to the conclusion that yes, it is hard. Extremely hard in fact. But it's worth it. I've learned not to think of just that moment in time when making a decision but the eternal outcome. There are a lot of guidelines and rules that come with being a Mormon, but I've come to find that by obeying them I am happier, I am healthier, and nothing bad has ever come from following the teachings of the church. My relationship with my Heavenly Father has grown tremendously and I am preparing to serve an 18 month mission for the church in Ecuador. I wouldn't survive with out the love of my savior and the church and I can not wait to bring that love and the light to the people of Ecuador.

How I live my faith

I am a member of the Camarillo singles ward. My current calling is the ward chorister. So every Sunday I lead the music for the congregation. I love to sing in sacrament and also with the choir. FHE is one of my favorite activities. And I will be serving a mission starting in May for 18 months!
