Hi I'm Kayden Hicken

I grew up in the mountains of Heber City, Utah. I ride motorcycles for fun, and fix them for a living. I'm a mormon.

About Me

I love to spend as much time as I can in the mountains. I've been raised outdoors. I grew up on a dairy farm, spending many hours of every day outside working. I'm now a motorsports technician. With that I've developed a passion for motorcycles and ATV's. Any chance I get you'll find me playing in the mountains on one of my machines.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because I absolute love the peace, love, and joy that comes from the truth that is taught. I was headed down a path that was not very desirable and found myself sinking into a depression. I prayed to my Heavenly Father to know whether or not the church was true. I found myself overwhelmed with joy and comfort and knew immediately that the things which are taught are true. Since that day I've done all that is reccomended by the church and have never been able to compare the happiness I once felt to the pure and everlasting joy I now feel. I'm a Mormon because it gives me truth that God is in control of the happiness in my life as long as I'm worthy to receive it.

How I live my faith

I attended services every Sunday. I love the feeling that comes with attending. I always find myself being filled with more and more joy. I attend a Singles Ward which for men and women ages 18-30. It's an absolute ball. We have the most amount of fun possible. We enjoy our sacrement service where all the men and women meet and listen to 2 or 3 different speakers. Afterwards we seperate into our choice of class. The first sunday school class is mingled with men and women and we are given a number of different options. After that class, all the men gather together and all the women gather together in seperate classes to help strengthen one another. Throughout the week we enjoy different activities. In the singles ward, on Monday we have an activity called Family Home Evening. All those who desire get together and we play games and host service projects and do different things that help bring us together. Wednesday's we have a class called institute. It's a college type course that helps us learn more about the history of our faith and dig in detail on certain topics. Every activity is thoroughly enjoyable!
