Hi I'm Christine Stevens

I grew up in Castle Dale Utah. I have my bachelors degree in Elementary Education. I am happily married to Tim.

About Me

I love the outdoors. My first favorite place to be is in the mountains and doing activities such as camping, fishing, roasting hotdogs around a campfire, sleeping in tents and cabins, playing cards, dutch oven dinners, pack trips on the mountain, and riding horses. My second favorite place to be is on the lake. My favorite activities on the lake are boating, hiking, eating snacks and lunches on the boats, solemn skiing, wake boarding, kneeboarding, tubing, swimming, laughing with friends and family, sleeping on cots and looking at the stars, yummy dinners prepared by loved ones. I love teaching and working with children. My sister says I have the magical touch with them. She calls me the kid magnet. I am married to a wonderful man who works hard and is a big example to me. I look forward to having children and being a mom. This is a dream and a goal of mine. I have graduated from college with a bachelors degree in Elementary Education from SUU.

Why I am a Mormon

The reason that I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is because this religion makes me so happy. I have found great joy and peace in being a member of the church. I have become a better person. I get to learn about our Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ. I get to learn how to live with them again some day. I get to learn how I can live with my family forever, not just this life, but the next one. I know that this is the only true church on this earth. I know that my Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ loves me and that if I follow their teachings and commandments I can live with them and my family again someday. I know that the book of mormon is true. I know that Joseph Smith was a true prophet of god and that he restored this church. I am grateful for the blessings I receive by being a member of the church.

How I live my faith

For a long time I have been a substitute teacher in the school district of Iron County and Clark County. I have found great joy in teaching these children and helping them learn. In my ward I have had many wonderful callings that has given me the opportunity to work with children who I love. These callings include working in the nursery. In the nursery I find joy and peace by holding these sweet toddlers. I love to cuddle with them, have snacks, and play. I have worked in the primary and have found happiness in teaching the children about the gospel and Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ. In the past I have worked with the cub scouts and have learned a great deal in becoming a better person and serving others.
