Hi I'm Keslee

I go to BYU. I am working to become a humanitarian engineer. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a college student at BYU studying to be a chemical engineer. I enjoy singing, drawing, hiking, reading, and spending time outside. I'm a big fan of puzzles and brain teasers. My favorite T.V. show is Psych. Eventually I wish to be fully involved with various humanitarian engineering projects to help other people. I guess you could say I'm the typical college student: studying, dating, and making sure I still have time to do the things I enjoy.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know that my Savior loves me. I know that there is no way I could have ever made it through the trials in my life without the Lord by my side. I feel God's love every day; for both myself and the people around me. The gospel helps me realize who I really am. The gospel encourages me to work toward the true potential I have. I have been taught that I can be a better person each and every day and I do my best to live my life in a way to help others. I am a happier person when I live the principles Christ has displayed. Truly the gospel is just about making us happier people, and we are happier people when we follow Christ. I love this gospel with all of my heart and my life experiences have drawn me closer to Christ and increased my faith in Him and His teachings. God lives. He loves us. I know this with all of my heart.

How I live my faith

I live my faith each day by doing my best to improve the lives of people around me. I look for someone I can help every day. I am in the presidency over the women in my area. As such I take on the responsibility of helping wherever I can; truly being my best self and helping other people realize their divine potential.

Can a husband and wife be together forever? Do Mormons believe that families will live together in heaven?

Keslee
Yes, Mormons do believe that a husband and wife can be together forever and that we can be families in heaven. Death is not the end with the people we love; we can see them again when we join them in passing through the veil of death. Some of our happiest moments here on earth are with our families, and we believe that only reflects a piece of the joy we can have in heaven when we are with our families forever. Show more Show less
