Hi I'm Julia

I was born in Venezuela, a country well known for it's diverse beauties and oil. I'm a mormon.

About Me

I love everything about my culture and traditions; our diverse people, our yearly celebrations (carnival, Easter, etc.), our delicious cuisines for any occasion, our musical rhythms, and the simple warmth, joy and laughter of everyone you meet-like a family. I am a daughter of two well dedicated parents that have sacrificed everything to make the future of their children better.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been blessed to be born in the ties of marriage inside the Church. Although, I have always had the gospel in my life, I know I still need to learn more about it and understand it. I know I am not perfect, we all have our own flaws, but this gospel has helped me shaped my life along the way and I hope to become the person the Lord wants me to be. And it's such a great comfort in my heart to know and feel that there is a Heavenly Father that loves me and knows what my weaknesses are, that Jesus Christ is His beloved son and that Christ is the perfect example to be nearer to the presence of God.

How I live my faith

At present, I am a Church Teacher for children at the ages of 8-11. This has allowed me to have the opportunity to develop leaderships skills, and Christ-like qualities; like being among children and help them grow in the church. Of course, I also need to always apply these principles that I teach to my own life, family and even friends. I am grateful for the opportunity to grow as I serve diligently, and to help others do the same.

Why is family so important to Mormons?

Julia
Having a family is truly one of many blessing the Lord has given to His children here on Earth. Since we are all sons and daughters of a loving Heavenly Father, He gave us families so we would not feel alone here on Earth-this is nucleus of the Lord's divine plan for His children. In our families we can share are laughters and tears together. We can learn and share experiences from each other. We are taught to love one another, serve another and comfort another-these values helps build stronger communities to a stronger city and even become a stronger nation of peace and charity. Charity is the pure love of Christ. Sometimes families may face difficult challenges, but each obstacle can be overcome when working together- bringing us strength to go through any trail in our life's journey. Families can be united for all life and beyond- eternally and return to the presence of God himself who created all things. Show more Show less
