Hi I'm Miri

I just got my associates, I enjoy the outdoors, I LOVE rock climbing, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am 20 years old, I recently got my associates degree, and am currently serving an LDS mission in Minnesota and Wisconsin. I'm an avid rock climber, I would do it all day every day if I could. I also love soccer, hiking, slack-lining, and pretty much anything that involves being outside.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because I believe this gospel to be true. I have felt Gods love, support, and guidance when I've followed through with the teachings of the church, and even when I've made mistakes. I know He loves me and wants me to become the best I can, and that he will help me to do so. I know that this is Christ's church, placed here to help not only me, but everyone return to him and our Father in Heaven.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by following the example of my Savior, Jesus Christ. I try to do what He has asked of me, and I try to help others along the way. I can feel my faith and my relationship with him grow stronger as I pray, study from the scriptures, and keep his commandments. As I learn more about him I strive to emulate the example that he has set by making changes to bring my life in line with what he would have it be. When I make mistakes I do my best to fix it, and ask for Gods help to do so.

Do Mormons regard the Bible as Holy Scripture and the word of God?

Miri
Yes, we believe the Bible to be the word of God. The Book of Mormon does not replace the Bible in anyway, instead it supports and compliments what the Bible teaches. Show more Show less

Why is family so important to Mormons?

Miri
Family is so important to us because we are part of God's family. We are literally his sons and daughters, who he knows and loves. Our Heavenly Father sent us here to families so that we could have safe, and loving environments to learn and grow, and because he knew the joys that family can bring. When we love our family, and strengthen them, we are helping strengthen God's family. Show more Show less
